James R. Rosencrantz & Sons, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Equipment Retail Inside Sales Consultant at our Kensington, New Hampshire location. Qualified applicants will display high energy, positive motivated attitude, and a track record of customer satisfaction. Purpose: Sells new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers. Focuses on walk-in, retail-oriented, customer traffic.

Greet our clients in a friendly and welcoming manner. Listen to our customers' needs and give product presentations. Keep current on all manufacturers and dealership related training and knowledge, as well as the competition. Uphold the integrity of the dealership with exceptional customer satisfaction scores. Responsibilities:
- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to walk-in customers
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment by the dealership, with an emphasis on <90hp tractors, implements & attachments as well as Turf products
- Assembles and arranges new equipment for showroom display and maintains the showroom, outside displays, and literature in a customer-ready fashion
- Conducts new equipment and product demonstrations
- Monitors competitive activity/products and communicates information to management in a timely manner
- Maintains up-to-date and accurate customer information for sales management
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Assists with the preparation and execution of trade shows, fairs, and customer events
- Promptly follows-up on all customer leads and documents sales activity
- Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and communicates to sales management
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Makes follow-up calls and sends “thank you” cards after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values
- May maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to work flexible hours (includes special events such as fairs and festivals which are held on Saturdays/Sundays).
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Company hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-1pm in the off-season and 8am-4pm during April-June. Closed Sundays.
Sales representatives are expected to work during our fairs and festivals which may include extended hours and Sundays.
